There are 4 basic subjects you need to consider when Mediating with us

Unless otherwise agreed by the parties themselves, the parties each pay a mediation fee of $100 per hour for the mediation session and preparation.

Travel time, conference room fees and mileage are all billed as an administrative expense.

Mediations generally require at least a business morning. However, sometimes several days are necessary where there are a significant number of issues or where issues are complex.

No mediation is ever conducted without first obtaining a signed Agreement to Mediate.

Solo & Co-Mediation

Mediations are done in teams or individually, depending on the wishes of the parties.

A team consists of two mediators, usually one male and one female, this is done to maintain gender balance where the parties desire it.

Required Training

Although Colorado currently imposes no minimum qualifications to become a mediator, we believe that mediators should be licensed attorneys, free of disciplinary history.

The professional should also have completed a recognized course in mediation (preferably the Colorado Bar Association’s 40 hour course) and have completed a practicum or participated in one of Colorado’s Court-sponsored mediation programs.
